Are all components new?
Not necessarily. An EmberCore build may combine new, pre-owned, and reconditioned components. The product details list the hardware and recorded condition; the full component-condition breakdown is confirmed before payment.
What does “reconditioned” mean?
At EmberCore PCs, “reconditioned” means the component received appropriate hands-on service beyond cleaning and inspection. For a graphics card, that can include disassembly, fresh thermal paste and pads, reassembly, and testing. It does not mean manufacturer-refurbished unless the product details specifically say so.
How is a complete PC tested?
Every complete EmberCore PC is stress-tested and then tested in real games. Stability, temperatures, FPS, and other useful performance data are reviewed for the exact machine.
Are posted FPS results guaranteed?
No. Performance varies with resolution, settings, drivers, game updates, room temperature, and background software. Posted results describe the tested configuration and conditions.
Can I request an all-new build?
Yes. Tell Kovi you want all-new components in the build details on the contact form. Options depend on your budget, performance goals, and component availability.
Can you build with parts I already own?
Possibly. Existing parts are reviewed individually for condition, compatibility, and whether they make sense for the finished system.
What repair work is available?
Requests can include troubleshooting, cleaning, thermal maintenance, GPU thermal service, upgrades, rebuilds, and post-service testing.
Should I back up files before service?
Yes, whenever possible. Do not assume data recovery or preservation is included. Discuss any data concern before leaving or shipping a computer.
